The families unite to care for Adele and film every step of their journey. By the time Lauren and Seth marry in 2011, Adele has forgotten her daughter’s name. In 2012, Lauren and Seth turn grief into action and start the nonprofit Hilarity for Charity using celebrity and humor to let the millions caring for loved ones with the disease know that they are not alone.
