Mayor Glass interviews David Keller (former Petaluma City Council and Friends of the Eel River), and Joan Cooper (Coordinator for Friends of Shollenberger Park). They discuss the future of Shollenberger Park vs Dutra Asphalt Plant. The chosen location of Dutra to build an asphalt plant adjacent to a wetland sanctuary, close proximity to family homes, business parks and downtown Petaluma is unacceptable. Also Smart Train bringing tourists back and forth will be subjected to toxic pollutants generated by the asphalt plant. 200 trucks per day are scheduled to add to the already congested traffic on hwy 101.
