Objective: Remove all the ugly braze from the frame
So when I got the frame it was covered in copious amounts of Bondo (see Day 1 video). Under all the Bondo was a bunch of really half-assed shaped sheet metal that was brazed to the frame. I guess the last builder figured that the thing was going to be covered in Bondo, so the brazing didn't need to look nice.
I used a drill to find the hollow points between the sheet metal and the original frame. I used the holes I drilled out as guiding points, and then pretty much did connect the dots and cut out the brazed areas.
Grind wheel to grind down the old welds, 60 and 80 grit flap wheels to smooth things out
