At last. The consensus version of the Official Trailer for Crafted to Last Minnesota Beer Blossoms. You may recall that my editing partner, SpitBall, leaked an earlier version of the trailer just before the world premiere at the Parkway Theater on July 19, 2014. In all the hubbub around the release of the film in Minneapolis and Duluth (July 25), I've not had a spare moment to up-load the Real Official Trailer. That is, until now, the 3rd day since the last showing and here it is, back from the dead.
That this version exists at all is a testament to the inseparability of myself from SpitBall. We've resettled our differences all over again. He is the Muse Whisperer that nudges my heart through my eyes and helps me focus on the missing edge of Vermeer's mirror.
SpitBall and I generally work in tandem. We take turns at editing the film and discuss it internally in between bouts. The version that he "leaked" was the untouched timeline I had left him on the shared hard drive. This video is the result of SpitBall finally taking his turn in the suite. Of course he did what he always does. He distorted the time and mixed phrases around. I like to give SpitBall the final word because he always manages to leave the most intriguing part of the story unstated but not quite untold.
