The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is calling on you to put an end to drunk driving.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, more than 10,000 people are killed in drunk driving crashes all over the country each year. Drunk driving is reckless and preventable. Drivers continue to break the law by driving impaired, putting other drivers at risk every day.
"We want drivers to know that we don't tolerate drunk driving," says Sheriff Bill Gore. "No excuses, no warnings. If drivers are caught driving impaired, they will be arrested."
If you do drink, have a designated driver ready.
