Value Place Lebanon, TN, is conveniently located off of I-40 and Hwy 109, approximately 20 miles northwest of downtown Nashville. Nashville is the capital of Tennessee, and situated in the central part of the state along the Cumberland River. Nashville, or “Music City,” is home to numerous colleges and universities, as well as a major hub for the music, banking, transportation, publishing, and healthcare industries.

The majority of attractions in Nashville are music-related, and live performances and karaoke venues are a “dime a dozen” on Broadway St., a popular downtown area packed with all types of nightlife, entertainment, and restaurants. The most popular performances come from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry; it’s the world’s longest running live radio show, and where famous country music artists take the stage. There are plenty of interesting things in the area known as Music Valley—you can visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, shop ‘til you drop at the Opry Mills shopping mall, or climb aboard the General Jackson showboat.

Are festivals your thing? Major events are held in Nashville year-round that appeal to just about anyone—especially if you’re a music lover. The CMA Music Festival is held every June, and is a four-day event featuring performances by famous recording artists and related activities, with the Nashville Film Festival in April, and Nashville Fashion Week in March. The CMA Awards are the most anticipated event of the year—the major Country Music Association awards show held at Bridgestone Arena every November.

If you’re looking for some sports action, Nashville is where the Tennessee Titans (NFL) and Nashville Predators (NHL) make their home. The Nashville Sounds baseball team (PCL) and the Middle Tennessee Storm basketball team (CBL) also play here. Every year, you can catch the NCAA college football Music City Bowl, and there’s always something going on at the Fairgrounds Speedway, a NASCARWhelen All-American Series racetrack.
