In this dive we walk to the northern side of the headland at Shelly Beach (there's a track from the carpark). We enter the water and drift back around to the beach, through kelp and boulder habitat. The dive features two species of shark (PJ and angel), one-spot pullers, leatherjackets, trevally and mullet feeding just below the surface. As usual Cabbage Tree Bay is a riot of marine life compared to surrounding areas.
