Directed by Alan Holly with Ciaran Deeney Producing (And Maps And Plans), this beautifully hand drawn animation tells the story of a recently deceased souls encounter with Death.
The result of two years of painstaking work by a small team of dedicated artists, the film was produced under the Frameworks animation scheme funded by the IFB, RTÉ and the Arts Council, and features the voice talent of Brian Gleeson (Love/Hate) and Orla Fitzgerald (Wind That Shakes The Barley).
Sound Post for Coda - which also nabbed the award for Best Animated Short Film at the 2014 South by SouthWest (SXSW) - took place here at Screen Scene, where saucer eyed beauty, Michelle Fingleton, served as Sound Editor and tall glass of sideburns, Garrett Farrell, handled the mix.
Andy Kirwan, a fresh faced dandy with razor sharp cheekbones reminiscent of an early 90’s Val Kilmer, provided the Hardspot effects.
