Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands, is a great holiday destination with an excellent bus service which makes it easy to explore the island. The video shows some of the most famous attractions, i.e.: La Corbière lighthouse, Plémont Bay, St Brelade’s Bay, Havre des Pas, Green Island, Gorey with Mont Orgueil Castle, St Catherine’s Bay with the Red Tower, ducks (= amphibious vehicles) at Elizabeth Castle in St Helier (the capital), St Helier from Gallows Hill, an orangutan at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, some of the famous Jersey cows, St Saviour’s Parish Church, viewing platform at the Devil’s Hole, St Aubin’s Fort, St Aubin’s harbour, boats leaving Elizabeth marina, radar tower on the premises of BBC Jersey, a little stall with an honesty box where you can buy the famous Jersey Royals (= potatoes) and flowers etc., Reg’s Garden, Samarès Gardens, Bouley Bay, La Greve d’Azette (= the beach in front of the Samarès Coast Hotel and Apartments).
The video was shot entirely on the iPhone 5s. The tilt-shift effect was added in post-production. The song is Löhstana David’s instrumental version of “Quand je serai grand” (from jamendo.com).
P.S. Thank you to the Samarès Coast Hotel for having published my video on the Facebook website of the Morvan Hotels (facebook.com/morvanhotelgroup) and on their general website (morvanhotels.com) for over a year.
P.P.S. And MANY thanks to Jersey Tourism for sharing this Vimeo link on their Facebook account as well (facebook.com/VisitJersey).
