most importantly, what I am showing is that senior citizens staying at nursing homes are not given the legal right to eat in japan, if they cannot communicate, or eat by themselves they are tube fed with nutrition, vitamins only.
It is to save money and make the staff rich, owner or doctor, or whoever; they say it is dangerous- April 2014
there was a Japanese law enacted requiring these facilities to feed people real food if they can eat. This place doesn't even have examinations to see if they can eat. there are many people in the same condition as my mother who are tube fed, and ultimately, they look much worst, just laying in bed 24 hours a day with a tube in their stomach, connected to a canister; before it was legal, now the law is broken but seems to be no penalty because no one will say anything, How deplorable!
