To communicate the value of Generac's backup power generators in a weather emergency, marketing firm Bader Rutter and DK transported viewers into the heart of a storm. The spot opens from the perspective of one rain drop hurling toward earth, through rain and storm clouds, as a violent lightning strike blacks out an entire neighborhood. When our rain drop splashes down, we reveal that one homeowner was prepared for the storm – their Generac unit humming to life, restoring power.
The entire spot was created in photo real 3D by the team at DK – who used extensive research and specialized tools to create an an immersive audiovisual experience.
