“The Smaller Deaths” is the first song of a song cycle (from an EP in production) that explores endless state violence and its moral consequences. It’s for the invisible and nameless, the true losers of every conflict. And for those of us at a distance (for now) standing at our windows, watching on our screens, not knowing what to do.
