SYNOPSIS An American story of race, class and climate change, (the untitled Kivalina documentary) chronicles the
painstakingly slow relocation relief process that’s complicated an ancestral way of life among one Inupiat
community in the North Arctic.
As the film unfolds, it presents the central question of “who should save Kivalina?”—a village victimized by a warming planet, and yet, today represent the least equipped to manage the costly consequences associated with today’s climate trends.
