On August 2nd The Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago filled Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago with color and energy for The Living Loop Performing Arts Festival.
High Concept Laboratories, in collaboration with Chicago Loop Alliance, presents The Living Loop, a new festival celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of Chicago’s performing arts community. This June, July, and August free weekly outdoor performances will be staged throughout Chicago’s Loop neighborhood in various public spaces. Each week features a different company, with performances representing a wide array of mediums, disciplines, styles and cultural influences—from music, theatre and dance, to conceptual performance, circus and more.
