... a documentary that will examine how an early version of what would become known as "affirmative action" played out in the lives of 19 African American men and women admitted to Harvard College in 1959. For Harvard, this was the largest number of Blacks admitted in its 323-year history. Now in our mid-sixties, we have lived through times of profound social, cultural, and political change. This documentary will be about what happened on the path to Harvard, at Harvard, and after Harvard.
