Join us at COSI on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 7pm to 8:30pm as we talk about the intersection of nanotechnology and food with Dr. Farnaz Maleky from the Ohio State University Department of Food Science and Technology. What is nanotechnology and how will the science of the incredibly small affect what we eat in the future? Hear Dr. Maleky discuss her exciting research in the area of food engineering and how it will improve health in the future, followed by some tasty hands-on demonstrations - including a chocolate tasting! Space is limited. Price does not include the cost of parking in lots adjacent to COSI ($4 for COSI Members; $5 for nonmembers). Program supported from the NISENetwork, using funding from the National Science Foundation.
