This video is a montage of the journey it took to get to Titcomb Basin in the Wind River Range Wyoming. The drive was spaced over Friday night to Sunday afternoon. We spent 8 days/nights backpacking from the Elkhart Part trailhead. It was a 30mile round trip hike to Titcomb Basin.
I was excited to test out my new camera on the trip, the A7s. With the Metabones adapter I used the Zeiss 28mm f2 and Zeiss 50mm f2 makro. I shot 80% of Journey to Titcomb in s-log2. I wanted to test the dynamic range of the camera and enjoy color correcting. My apologies for the shaky footage. I was usually breathing hard and would stop to grab a shot handheld.

In summary, I discovered my new favorite camera. See ya later 5D mark III. It was a mental and physical battle for many of us on the trip but as always the most challenging times become the most memorable stories.
