The Memphis Belle was the name given to a Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress that flew in World War II. It was the one of the first few aircraft that flew in the war that was able to complete 25 missions with her crew intact. There were two films made about the plane, a documentary in 1944 and a 1990 feature film.
B.J. Wade does not own any of these photos but is excited for you to see them all together as Memphis is hoping to bring back the Memphis Belle for display.
