#BeefeaterGin Spirit of London has opened a pop-up bar in London Gatwick South Terminal. Once again, Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Europe has launched a #digital activation within the airport environment. Passengers will begin their journey outside the airport with branded signage and instructions on how to participate. Once passengers understand the mechanic, they will be encouraged to upload 'selfies' using their own #Instagram accounts using #spiritoflondon as their hashtag. Once they've done this, their image will automatically appear on the screens in the airport and they will be invited to pass by the Beefeater Gin Experience area for a free polaroid of their #selfie and a complimentary sample of a Gin St Clements or Ruby Gin & Tonic. Passengers also benefit from receiving a cocktail booklet with information on the edition, the brand and distillery + an insert for their printed polaroid! Other gifts such as weekend bag and camera cases are available with their purchase. Additionally, there is a special appearance by @caRICKaturist every Friday for your Beefeater caricature. We've had amazing initial reactions and engagement with the consumers - can't wait to see the final results!
