The Center for Urban Families' (CFUF) 3rd Urban Visionary Awards honored trailblazers of community service and advocacy. We welcomed them to the MICA Brown Center for a discussion about progress in urban communities and action that is still required. Angela Glover Blackwell of PolicyLink, and author Wes Moore of OWN Network, both sat down to engage in this thought-provoking conversation moderated by UMBC president Dr. Freeman Hrabowski shortly after guests were welcomed by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. Other highlights of the event include awards to CFUF's employer and graduate of the year.
