Fifty-seven children ages 4 - 12 are going to school for the first time in the village of Kongou, Niger! Kristi Hopf, International Worker with the C&MA Canada has worked with village leaders to see this initiative start last December. It is only a one-room straw classroom built by the parents but a great start to seeing this young generation getting an education - including girls!
