Photoshop has many tools available for you to make adjustments to your images. Adjustment layers are the key to making adjustments to your images in a nondestructive way. Before adjustment layers, you had to duplicate your background layer, so that you would not destroy your image when you applied effects and filters to it. Now, this is no longer an issue, due to the fact that Photoshop has implemented adjustment layers. You have the ability to go back and edit image adjustments or effects at any time. One of the lesser-known adjustments is called gradient maps. You would be amazed at the effects and the results that you can get from using gradient maps. In this tutorial video, I'll show you how to use gradient maps in Photoshop.
