Michelle Brattain is the chair of the Department of History. Her research focuses on the history of ideas about race and science in the mid-to-late 20th century. Dr. Brattain, a roller girl for the past five years, teaches classes on the U.S. in the 1960s, 20th century U.S. history and the history of sex. She lives in Inman Park with her husband, Andrew Milne, and her daughter, Tui Brattain.
