We allow our girls time and space for reflection; we help them to see the awe and wonder of life and, in turn, every girl can reveal her own true self. An all girls’ environment allows the pupils to be themselves; I want them not to just be who they want to be, but to be the very best at who they want to be. As our Mission statement says, “we are concerned with all that a girl is and could become".
St Mary’s focuses on 21st Century issues. I want to inspire the girls to crave knowledge and we help them to develop the skills to use that knowledge. Our education is holistic: I am so proud of our leavers with their impressive list of university destinations but equally proud of all that they achieve on the sports field, in concerts, their drama productions, art exhibitions, D of E, LAMDA, their eagerness to form new societies and so much more.
An education is for life and our girls are prepared for the future, they believe in themselves and they leave as resilient, independent and confident young women.
