En el Valle Sagrado del Peru, muchos niños no tienen la oportunidad de expresarse físicamente y culturalmente. La profesora Carmen Santillan habla del trabajo de la Asociacíon Educativa y Cultural El Arte Sano en la escuela 711, un colegio donde no hay recursos para organizar talleres artísticos de calidad. Estas clases les da a los estudiantes de quinto grado la oportunidad de aprender teatro, movimiento y narración de cuentos como un medio de expresión.

In the Sacred Valley of Peru, children often lack the opportunity to express themselves physically and culturally.
Teacher Carmen Santillan introduces the work of the theatre classes, an initiative of the Educational and Cultural Association El Arte Sano at the Primary School 711, a school that doesn’t have the resources to organise quality expressive arts workshops. This workshop allows students the chance to explore theatre, movement and storytelling as a medium of expression.
