With the tragic killing of James Foley, it’s more apparent that the Middle East (and beyond) is getting more complex and convoluted. “You’re either with us or against us,” has become all the more laughable now that the United States is on the same side as Iran when it comes to Iraq, and on the same side as Assad when it comes to ISIS.
