Fog, small Kelvin-Helmholtz waves and twilight

Fog, small Kelvin-Helmholtz waves and twilight

Gaukou

The twilight was starting on a clear sky except over there at the horizon, 8-10 km from my position, where fog was recovering the north part of the Forêt de Chaux and its surrounding villages.

A good oppotunity to try to catch Kelvin-Helmholtz waves (slight ones here), and a nice suprise at the end of the time lapse.

The mountain on the left background is where the Montfaucon stronghold is, with a big antenna, which is atop of Besançon (50km from my spot).

Shot with Canon 450D, 75-300 mm UsM III (set on 80mm)
