Bernie, a staff accountant at AmericaBest Consulting, is an extraordinarily ordinary man settled comfortably into his routines.
He likes to rock it old school. Like using a 1970s adding machine. Listening to dusties on AM radio. Or sending interoffice envelopes to co-workers just across the hall. He’s a lovable Luddite, and to enter his office is like taking a trip to another universe. He shuns the new ways whenever a No. 2 pencil will do, and while a smartphone was foisted upon him, he only likes it because of the ringtones.
Bernie’s comfortable world is turned upside down when his late boss is replaced by his widow and fading trophy wife, Sandra, who immediately goes about fixing ABC’s dusty practices and moldering staff skills with the delicacy of a wrecking ball. The new boss’s sexual signals go right over Bernie’s head.
Which is not the part of his body she’s after.
