Kirby and I recently traveled to Mozambique to film a project for Little Changes International, a non profit organization who provide formula for mothers who can't breast feed. While we were there filming we stayed with an amazing family Gustavo and Beatriz Fuentes who run Young Life Mozambique. Their house was constantly full of students hanging out and playing music. A few of the students formed a band called Generacao JC and play at all of the Young Life functions and all around the city. One night the band was having a rehearsal and I really wanted to go check it out and have a listen, so we went out to a house where they had a full band set up at 10 P.M. at night in the middle of a neighborhood and listened to them play. I thought it would be great to get some footage of them to send them once we returned to the states. This is one of the many songs they played, and my personal favorite. It was filmed on a canon c100 and 5Dmkiii and the audio is straight off of a Rode videomic pro. Feel free to leave a comment and show some love to this great group of students doing amazing things in their country.
