From a short daytrip to the lower parts of the beautiful Nea river in Selbu, Norway with my sea kayak. Good grassy put-in spot at a small camping site, as seen in the timelapse in the beginning. You can paddle quite a bit upstream, until the current gets too fast, and there is definitely a chance of seeing the mysterious and strange beaver and catching some playful trout.
Good site to camp as well, there are cheap cabins with the key in the door, just walk right in and pay when the owner comes by.
This is my second test filming with the GoPro mounted to the tip of the kayak. In the first test you could see at little of the kayak, so this time I flipped the GoPro upside down to get it closer to the water, and controlling it via WiFi and the GoPro app on iphone, resulting in pretty short battery life, and of course, not options for selfies or other changes of angles, without getting out of the kayak.
I think it turned out pretty cool, what you see is raw from the camera, no filtering or adjusting of the colors at all. Unfortunately at bit is lost in the rendering to H264 and YouTubes prosessing.
Thanks for watching! Get out there and explore :)
