every digital image ever taken starting on the autobahn out of cologne, through newly opened east europe, along the serbian border, slaloming in a 67 opel kadette through romania to the black sea. simultaneously some digital images were combined with entries from our daily diary and sent via our laptop and faxmodem to the electronic cafe in the aperto at the venice biannual 1993. scalo verlag and patrick frey published a 'facsimile of our faxsimiles' limited edition book. along with the faxes of images and text sent, there is an introduction titled: timelines, tourist bubbles, transmission errors.
