Our Campus Cookout is back! This year's student cooking competition was held at Eureka Cooking Lab & the grand prize was a trip for 2 on a 5D4N to Okinawa, courtesy of Follow Me Japan (Prime Travel). The runner up received a $500 Magimix hamper from Lemon Zest Culinary Lifestyle, while other contestants also took home goodie bags filled with foodstuff from our sponsors Mizkan, San Remo and LollyTalk.
All 5 aspiring chefs had 90 minutes to finish their culinary creations using the mystery ingredient: couscous. After much deliberation by Chef Vijay, the grand winner was Chong Boon Kai who'll be heading to sunny Okinawa. Following closely behind is Chey Qi Yu who won not only the Lemon Zest hamper, but also $100 worth of Mizkan's sauces.
