Recording of the Accord Project Technology Working Group meeting on 30 January 2025.
Topics covered:
• The TSC voted to expand membership from six to seven seats and elected all seven nominees — Martin, Matt, Jonathan, Diana, Dan, Tom, and Nile — by acclamation, bypassing a formal election.
• Jonathan Lautenschlager, a senior engineer and Concerto maintainer at DocuSign, was introduced as the newest TSC member.
• The group discussed plans for an in-person working meetup at Codebase Edinburgh, a free venue offering space for 50–60 people, targeting the end of March 2025.
• Diana presented the draft Google Summer of Code 2025 ideas list, including a Rust validator for Concerto, a linter, a decorator DSL, and an AI co-pilot/template playground integration, with the org application deadline set for February 11th.
• The group noted that to attract four or more GSoC students, the ideas list should be expanded to eight to ten well-defined projects, with mentor recruitment prioritized both inside and outside DocuSign.
