A highlight reel of my MFA thesis performance entitled "Overflow" at the Troy Gasholder House. The Gasholder is a 100ft diameter, 50ft high round brick building with very unique acoustics. It has very long reverb and delay times, so all sounds you hear were not processed beforehand (except the auto-tune in the first piece).
The performance featured 5 different pieces that explored the varying relationships of using live improvised video alongside musicians. The pieces were:
1. Building a still
2. Free improvisation
4 projectors were used as well as various scrims hung throughout the building.
