Wartime associations can become very strong. This is the story of two families, who discover one another seventy years later. Their struggle to find the truth behind the Liberator bomber crash in the bogs of S.Ireland on 16th March, 1942 in which fifteen young men died, including the brother, Paul, of Cynthia Morey. She was a 14 year old during the Battle of Britain and she watched Hurricane fighter R 4118, based at RAF Croydon in 1940, as it helped save Britain then and, now today, lovingly restored, it again wheels in the skies of southern England. heirlinefilms.co.uk usually makes films of other people's life experiences but today I find our own family very much at the centre of this story. Yet, there will be others out there whose relatives shared the same devastating horror. This is a thought for all those young men. 15 died and 4 survived. Our uncle, John Tolson, perished with Paul Morey.
