Yasushi Koyama on japanilainen taiteilija (kuvanveistäjä), joka asuu ja työskentelee Helsingissä. Hän tekee söpöjä eläinveistoksia puusta ja keramiikasta.

Yasushi Koyama is a Japanese artist, living and working in Helsinki. He makes cute animal sculptures from wood.
He makes "Art for Children" project.
"Art for Children" means that he makes art works of animal wood sculptures for children to be able to touch & hug on it in place.
Therefore he would like to give small happiness to children through his art works.
The idea of “Art for children” developed from his art work "Big Panda", which was donated to children's hospital Lastenlinna in Helsinki. In the playroom of Lastenlinna “Big Panda” gives a lot of happiness to little patients and their parents every day.
He makes this project in Mesenaatti in Autumn 2014.
