'Stories on the Go' is a mini-series of stories curated from the volunteers and visitors who embody Shepherd's Hope. Elder Darryl Coleman has been a part of Shepherd's Hope since day one. His first hand account began with the founder, Brian Anderson. As Brian's construction employee he witnessed Brian making a decision to feed a few homeless people near Cabrini Green. Several months later Darryl was volunteering at the small bungalow Brian used to start this remarkable urban ministry. The risk was ventured and Brian never looked back. In 2009, the front door opened to feed those in need. Darryl under went a heart transformation by serving the people of Englewood who form 'the line' at 57th and Lowe. You can hear the fire emanating from his heart. At the end, Darryl emphatically declares, "We're not going anywhere" because the fruit of Shepherd's Hope labor continues to consistently yield 'miracle after miracle'.
