Venice Revealed ©, the project created by the writer Alberto Toso Fei and artist ELENA TAGLIAPIETRA, presented to the large audience, the show AND THE VENICE FILM at the Blue Moon, thanks to the collaboration with Venice Beaches.
The topics covered by Alberto Toso Fei during this event presented stories about the history of Venice Lido, from the historically proven to mythical ones. Toso Fei told of how, for example, the Lido has remained largely uninhabited until the early twentieth century and the circumstances that brought Rudolph Valentino before his rise to fame, or even as the waters of the island is born on ' love between a mermaid and a man.
All the stories, as in other occasions, were presented in synergy with the performance of Elena Tagliapietra music and the MUSIC of the composers Peter Kater and R. Carlos Nakai. This performance Elena Tagliapietra has involved five performers, all Venetians: Anna Bertolin, Silvia Minervino, Matilde Paluello, Stefania Simonetto and Federico Tonon, who painted both before and during the action, some have interpreted the choreography with the help of some props that recalled the shape of pots and fishing nets, and that, initially hidden in the sand, were revealed only during the SHOW. choreography, created by Venetian Federica De Pol, had an unexpected end to the public, which has seen models walk slowly towards the sea to immerse themselves completely and disappear beneath the WAVES. Even during this appointment was confirmed the collaboration of musician Matt Corso who created the soundtrack for the official video of the appointment.
As usual, Venice Revealed ©, wanted to emphasize A local who plays an important role in the enhancement and protection of the flora and fauna of the area: the WWF dunes of Alberoni.
This eighth meeting was staged after the last performance "IN A THOUSAND ROSE", held at the arsenal of Venice for the Festa della Sensa and has played the pink with pictures and comments of the participants of A ROSE FOR VENICE, land art performance of the previous April 25, which has recreated a charming "bocolo" human with the participation of 1,000 citizens.
The project, now in its second year of life, touched in seven stages, many of the most significant places of Venice, which is linked to an ancient legend or a traditional look of historical importance; starting from the fish market of Rialto, through the boatyard of San Trovaso for Forte Marghera, the former Convent of San Salvador, the Teatro la Fenice, the afore mentioned Piazza San Marco and arriving at the Arsenale in Venice.
The Venice Project Revealed ©, created in collaboration with VELA SPA, with organizational support of 2ERRE ORGANIZATIONS and with the support of the culture of the city of Venice, will present in the next sixteen months to four more performance art and literature included in the program of the main Venetian festivities. The next meeting will be at the Regatta in Burano island, September 21, 2014.
