"Shadow of a Wheel" Documentary Earns Regional Emmy Win
Asheville, NC — 2.21.25 — The acclaimed documentary Shadow of a Wheel has been honored with winning a Regional Emmy in the Historical Documentary category at the 39th Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards ceremony, held on Saturday, February 15, at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. The awards were presented by the Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Produced by Bonesteel Films & director Paul Bonesteel, the documentary tells the true story of a group of American teens who embarked on a coast-to-coast bike trip in the summer of 1982 to raise money for multiple sclerosis, a journey that Bonesteel participated in when he was 16 years old.
