For the final week or shows in 2005 I was asked to put together a montage of outside studio video material for the show, making sure we showed as many of the people and events involved as was possible in the highlights. This meant trawling through hours of raw tapes, edited material, and other things - many which I had worked on as a camera operator or editor - to make a full montage.
Once I had the material after a day's work, the edit itself was smooth and quick and only took me most of one afternoon to showcase numerous things that made up the 2005 year of student show Cow TV.
The background music track is King Kong by New Zealand artist Voom, from their album 'Hello, Are You There?' - the track also provides the reason for the pun title - 'Kong Sized Montage.'
Please excuse the mixed quality of the material, it comes from various archives. 4:3 converted to 16:9.
