The decrease in Photoshop popularity amongst designers is well-documented. Most users won’t willingly admit they’ve continued to use it. The same could be said of how vinyl records fell out of favor with music lovers at the onset of the digital age. Yet records possessed enough redeeming qualities to not only survive, but thrive, even in the current day.

In this session, we’ll talk about the relationship between Photoshop and Responsive Web Design. What sense can we make out of the “Post-PSD Era” as it pertains to “deliverables"? We’ll cover some strategies for keeping Photoshop in the fold; not just for nostalgia’s sake, but because it can be a powerful, albeit unlikely, ally to designing in the browser.
