Featuring a beautiful soundtrack from Samuel Bisson, this film is an homage to Arev Manoukian's jaw-dropping short-film, "Nuit Blanche", and an attempt to come somewhere close to recreating the inspiring visual effects of Marc-Andre Gray. I had been commissioned to make an entrance film for my sister and her husband at their wedding reception, and was trying to think of something that would, at once, be romantic, entertaining, cool, and technically challenging, but, above all else, showcase the two of them in the best possible light. When I somehow saw "Nuit Blanche", 5 months before the wedding, by chance, I knew I had found the recipe for meeting all of the above criteria. I was floored by how amazing the film was, on both a technical and emotional level, and so I made it my goal to recreate the film, shot for shot, in hopes of capturing even a fraction of the emotion that the original has on offer. I feel as though we succeeded in this endeavour, and I hope you enjoy!
Special thanks to Ardy Aryan of R.E.N. Productions for taking care of the lighting. I would have been lost without your help.
