Accord Project Tech WG – 2025-03-05 – GSoC, Template Playground, de-combine SLC

Topics covered:
• Accord Project was accepted as a Google Summer of Code mentor org for 2025, with contributor applications opening March 24th.
• The TSC announced an in-person meetup on April 7–8 in Dublin, hosted at DocuSign offices, open to the wider community.
• Mahesh presented merged Template Playground performance improvements via bundle splitting, with discussion on re-enabling the TypeScript bundle and fixing type/lint issues incrementally.
• A recurring CloudFront 403 error on shareable template links was identified as a URI size limit breach (currently set to 2 MB).
• Maintainers raised concerns about an influx of low-quality, AI-generated issues and PRs from GSoC applicants and agreed to close them and monitor volume.
• Tim presented de-combine SLC, a Go-based finite state machine for smart legal contracts running on Kubernetes, and opened discussion on integrating Concerto models to fill the execution runtime gap left by the deprecation of Ergo.
