I cover the stories of the Sisters which takes me to some far away places and allows me to meet the people that SCNs minister to. In Nepal I met a boy named Bhakta. He was not fortunate enough to be born into a place that could adapt to his disability. I learned about his life, the daily hardships he endures, and his dreams. Now as I think about my family and how fortunate we are, and then back to my time with Bhakta, my heart still aches. Forever changed by my encounter, Bhakta and the Sisters who cared for him will always be in my thoughts and in my prayers.
