Images that portray water's million possible shapes, colours and dynamics. It's not a story, just an excercise for the eye, a reminder of what is so common we often forget to consider it anymore. The earth surface is covered by seven tenths water and our body is about 70% water by volume, yet we insist on wasting it, polluting it, and using it as if it were inexhaustable and someone else's problem. The 22nd of March 2010 was World Water Day. The international observance of World Water Day is an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro... and SEVEN TENTHS is the first of what I hope will be a mini series of silent stories of what I see in water, hoping I too can help make the difference.
