Dr. Gail Hearn has been leading an expedition to the African Island of Bioko for over 20 years. The island is home to incredible levels of biodiversity as well as eleven species of primates threatened by the illegal bushmeat trade. Gail Hearn founded the Bioko Biodiversity Protection Program in order to study and help protect the wildlife of the island. This video is to commemorate her years of dedication and service in academics, research and conservation.
