This is the video of a lecture given to information security undergraduate students on the steps to take while still in school to move towards a successful career in information security by Marisa Fagan from Errata Security.
Marisa Fagan is Errata's Security Project Manager, responsible for managing the custom development lifecycles required for the tools in the Hacker Eye View suite, as well as managing the research and consulting engagements. Ms. Fagan has a BBA degree from Georgia State University focused on IT Project Management and Information Security. During her tenure with Errata Security, Ms. Fagan has successfully managed projects for a variety of large and small sized companies. She specializes in rapid development of network security tools and is recognized for her research in threat modeling and identity theft. Ms. Fagan has presented her work at SummerCon 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia and at SecurityBSides 2009 in Las Vegas, NV & 2010 in San Francisco, CA. Additionally, Ms. Fagan is active in the information security community through the Atlanta Chapter of NAISG.
