Originally this soundtrack to this recording was a 30 minute mix tape
with recordings from the radio
(one of the best radio shows was hosted by the late António
Sérgio and it was called 'Som da Frente')
back in my teenage years on the eighties end.
With the development of technology and personal money,
the tape developed into a 60 minute one, later then a 90 minute tape.
Back at this point the tape developed into dual tape with its
own title around mid nineties:
Rosy stars tears from heaven and Rosy stars laughs from hell.
Later I bought my fist minidisk which offered quality digital
recording. I used this quality and downgraded the recording by
playing the original dual tapes live at my den
and adding aural sounds from my own castle dungeon surroundings.
The final stage was developed on the 2002 summer
when the surviving minidisk was cut, looped and sequenced
live with the added sound of a tv programme about
the way schizophrenia influences the statement:
Shades are not grey.
This completes the recorded sound of this recording.
Later in 2009, I finally treated and mixed with effects
this audio track to become, at last, like this.
I decided to give it as a Marianne Faithfull song title:
It contains this more or less distinguishable samples,
every one all from bands worth buying and collecting their records:
"I am not that strong" Marianne Faithful on Sister morphine
"Angelic Conversations" Derek Jarman, Coil and Judi Dench's voice
Thunder Perfect Mind from Current 93 and NWW
"Maio Maduro Maio" from Radio Macau's interpretation of a Zeca Afonso original
Some song from The Cranes
Some song from Mercury Rev
"ever so lonely" from Sheila Chandra
"mille regretz" from Violence and the Sacred
Glenn Branca string symphonies
The Grief from the Hare Hunter Field project by Johnny Blue
Neubauten take on the Serge Gainsbourg's "Je t'aime" classic
Sound from Death in June "the guilty have no pride"
"Iberia", Ghost Sonata from the Moon with Tuxedos
Some other from radio shows i could not get a hold of their names
and oh, of course! el tango de buenos aires by Astor Piazolla
