ABOUT GWIN
GWIN (Growing Girls and Women in Nigeria) is an innovative programme that links government budgeting processes to specific targets to improve the lives of disadvantaged girls and women in Nigeria. Conceptualized and coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Finance, the programme works to deliver results through collaborative, low-cost and high-impact approaches.
The pilot phase is implemented by five ministries: Agriculture, Communications Technology, Health, Water Resources, and Works. The Ministry of Women Affairs monitors and evaluates the implementation.
