Is a closed circuit video installation / documentation space and alienation on the ground; in particular the terraces of the shopping center of La Spezia.
The installation is presented by the very large projection of 9 videos.
The video portion, consisting of 9 shooting is used to monitor the areas of development and in flux of the building and the land.
The viewer as an insider is concentrated and observes the 9 videos in an endless waiting, hoping for a structural change in unexpected space.
The videos take up different situation, the interior of the mall, a street, a plant, the tracks, a yard and a parking lot.
The absence of an effective and concrete takes the audience to a total loss of their roots feeling strange.
The starting point is never revealed nor do we know what the end. Only certainty is the need for a continuous movement which does not face never finish the exercise of the search, one of the waiting.
The headphone sound becomes the key element of the research, it connotes the development in an indirect manner. The sounds used are common, genuine, classic, immediately explicable to their existence and their lives outdoors.
Closed Circuit plays on the concept of transiency, emphasizing how the great changes can also result from minimal gestures and solitary not by force of matter, but sound.
